NILMS CORNERSTONE IN PLACE SOON

UPLAND, IN (Nov. 15, 2013) – Dirt track race fans see it from the edge of their seats.
The thrill is not only the thunder of highly-accelerated engines or the slinging of dirt. The anticipation and momentum of the field of cars rolling through turns three and four toward the green flag gets it started.
The picture of anticipation and momentum is now being drawn for the new Northern Indiana Late Model Series. The series, which takes the green flag for its inaugural season in 2014, is on the brink of a major announcement.
“This will be the cornerstone for the series,” NILMS president Phillip Worrick said. “Our administrative team is working hard to put this in place before we release the details - hopefully in the next couple weeks and by the PRI show at the latest.”
Interest in the crate engine-based Late Model group already is coming from race teams, promoters and fans from the multi-state area.
“The series will fill a void that has been there awhile now especially in the northern Indiana, northern Ohio and southern Michigan area,” Worrick added. “That is why we’re taking the precaution to have all the Is dotted and Ts crossed on this first major announcement. We can almost guarantee it will launch the next steps to finalizing tracks and race teams for 2014 and beyond.”
