Delmas Conley Sixth in Dan Reno Memorial; Rod Conley Ventures to Charlotte

WHEELERSBURG, OH (November 5) - Delmas and R.J. Conley both closed out their versions of the 2013 racing season on Saturday night, November 2 at the Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio. The 'Dan Reno Memorial' took place at the track formerly known as K-C Raceway and a $2,222 winner's check was on the line. Delmas was leading his heat race until mechanical woes sent him to the B-Main, where he later earned the third transfer spot.

After starting deep in the field in the 25-lap main event, the Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer stormed up through the pack to record a solid sixth place finish in his season finale. R.J. did not have any luck in the final event of his '13 campaign, as he broke an axle tube during qualifying and was forced to scratch for the remainder of the night. While Delmas and R.J. are now done for the year, Rod Conley will wrap up his 2013 season at the pristine Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina on November 7-9 with the annual running of the ‘World Finals.’ World of Outlaws Late Model Series qualifying will kick things off on Thursday night, with the first round applying to Friday’s card and the second round of time trials transferring to Saturday’s program. A $12,000 top prize will be up for grabs on both Friday and Saturday at the 4/10-mile speedplant, while each feature starter will receive at least $1,000.
