Podium Effort for Rod Conley at Southern Ohio Speedway; Conley’s Ready for DTWC

WHEELERSBURG, OH (October 10) - Rod Conley was the lone Conley Motorsports, Inc. driver in action on Saturday, October 5, as both Delmas and R.J. Conley were rained-out at the newly-reopened Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio. Rod and his #71r team bolted to the nearby Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, Ohio for the 5th Annual 'Black Jack & Farley Boggs Memorial,' which boasted a $3,000 payday. "Hot Rod" qualified well, ran third in the dash, and later wound up third in the unsanctioned A-Main to finish behind only race winner Jackie Boggs and runner-up Josh McGuire. Conley Motorsports, Inc. is now slated to enjoy the upcoming October 11-12 weekend away from the racetrack. They will be busy; however, prepping their equipment for the highly-anticipated ‘Dirt Track World Championship’ on October 18-19 at Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio. The 33rd edition of the ‘DTWC’ will once again be sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and will be taped by the television cameras of the Lucas Oil Production Studios. Qualifying and heat races will take place at PRP next Friday, while the consolation events, ‘Jim Dunn Memorial’ Non-Qualifiers Race, and the $50,000 to win ‘Dirt Track World Championship’ are all scheduled for next Saturday.
