Rick Eckert Runner-Up at Hagerstown; Jumps Back on WoOLMS in Michigan YORK, PENN (August 14) - Rick Eckert hooked back up with Paul Crowl's #7 team on Saturday evening, August 10 to compete in a Three State Flyers program at the legendary Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland. Rick took the win in heat race action and was later a fixture towards the front of the $3,000 to win feature event. He ran second throughout the 35-lap affair, but could only close in on leader Mark Pettyjohn in lapped traffic.
The York, Pennsylvania star eventually settled for a strong runner-up performance in the TSF showdown. Full results can be obtained by logging onto

Rick will be back behind the wheel of his familiar #24 ride when the Rick Eckert Racing team strikes out to the Wolverine State of Michigan on August 16-17. The World of Outlaws Late Model Series is set to preside over a pair of $10,000 to win battles this weekend at the Winston Speedway in Rothbury, Michigan (Friday) and the Merritt Speedway in Lake City, Michigan (Saturday). “Scrub” won last year’s show at Winston and comes into the weekend fourth in the latest version of the WOOLMS point standings.
