Kinzer Motorsports Set for Weekend Off Following Hatfield / McCoy Feuding 50
 
ALLEN, KY (August 8) - Brandon Kinzer and his #18 team rolled into the nearby 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky on Saturday evening, August 3 for the 'Hatfield / McCoy Feuding 50.'  The unsanctioned event drew a strong field of competitors vying for the $5,000 top prize.  Brandon encountered carburetor woes during qualifying and later ran third in his heat race.  After starting the 50-lap main event from the outside of the sixth row, BK moved up to seventh before overheating issues caused the Allen, Kentucky native to retire in the seventeenth position.  Complete results from 201 can be viewed online at www.201speedway.net.
 
The Kinzer Motorsports team has opted to take this upcoming weekend (August 9-10) off from Dirt Late Model competition.  The next race on their tentative schedule is a Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) event on Friday, August 23 at the Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia.  A $3,000 winner’s check will be on the line at the Chattanooga area facility in two week’s time.  You can view Brandon’s upcoming schedule by clicking on www.brandonkinzer.com.
