SHOWERS STOP HILLTOP SPEEDWAY’S ACTION

For the last week in the North Central Ohio area, late afternoon into early evening showers and thunderstorms have ruined outdoor activities and Saturday night at Hilltop Speedway was no different. With Qualifying and Hot Laps almost finished, a steady rain began to fall for nearly 45 minutes before it became evident that Mother Nature was not going to let up and the track was forced to cancel the races.

Next Saturday night, July 6th will see the Renegades of Dirt Modifieds back on the ‘Hill’ for the second time this season with a $1,500 to win feature plus the Bugs-R-Gone Trucks will run their $400 to win feature that was rained out this week. The Holmes Tire Late Models and the Street Stocks will run a regular shows as the Modlites also return to the track. The Mini Stocks and the Mini Wedges will take the week off at Hilltop Speedway.
