Dennis Erb, Jr. Readies for Farmer City and LaSalle on Heels of Lucas Oil DoubleheaderCARPENTERSVILLE, IL (April 24) - Dennis Erb, Jr. and his #28 team ventured east with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to the states of Maryland and West Virginia on April 20-21 for a pair of $10,000 to win showdowns. On Saturday at the legendary Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland, Dennis timed in eleventh fastest in Group A during qualifying and later finished eighth in his heat race and fifth in his B-Main. After receiving an emergency provisional to gain access into the 50-lap feature event, Dennis was able to move up nine spots on his way to a sixteenth place performance.
At the reconfigured West Virginia Motor Speedway in Mineral Wells, West Virginia on Sunday evening, Dennis posted the tenth quickest lap in Group A during time trials and later placed fifth in his heat race. Following a strong second place effort in his B-Main, Dennis started the 50-lap main event from the inside of the tenth row. The Carpentersville, Illinois ace was then able to pick off five competitors during the race en route to a fourteenth place finish. Dennis currently sits fifth in the latest version of the LOLMDS point standings following WVMS. Complete results can be viewed online at
