Conley’s Head to WVMS on Heels of One Epic Weekend

WHEELERSBURG, OH (October 3) - The Conley Motorsports, Inc. teams trekked to the Brushcreek Motorsports Complex in Peebles, Ohio from September 27-29 for the track's annual 'One Epic Weekend.'  Rod Conley was the lone driver to compete in Thursday's $1,200 to win tune-up race.  After running third in his heat race, "Hot Rod" moved up to fifth in the A-Main to finish behind only winner Doug Drown, Josh McGuire, Chad Smith, and Eddie Carrier, Jr.

On Friday night, heat races were held at Brushcreek to set the starting grid for the first of two $10,000 to win main events.  Delmas Conley won his heat race, while R.J. Conley finished fifth and Rod Conley wound up sixth in their respective prelims.  When the action really heated up on Saturday, R.J. won his B-Main, while Rod finished third in the consolation race.

In the first $10,000 to win A-Main on Saturday night, Delmas finished the 50-lap ADRA race in the twelfth spot and his sons Rod and R.J. were sixteenth and twenty-third respectively.  After the entire field was inverted for the final $10,000 to win feature, Rod came home seventh in the final rundown of the second 50-lapper, while R.J. was eleventh and Delmas was twentieth.  Full results from the three-day extravaganza at Brushcreek can be viewed online at www.brushcreekmotorsports.com.

With R.J. Conley slated to enjoy the upcoming October 5-6 weekend off from racing action, Delmas and Rod Conley will carry the Conley Motorsports, Inc. banner to the West Virginia Motor Speedway in Mineral Wells, West Virginia on Saturday evening.  The ‘Dirt Master Championship’ will be sanctioned by the American Dirt Racing Association (ADRA) and will pay $4,000 to the winner.  Additional information on the 40-lap ADRA Series finale can be obtained by logging onto www.wvspeedway.com.
