COMP Cams Super Dirt Series at Muskogee Postponed 

Beebe, Arkansas (09/27/12) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Model tour events slated for this weekend, September 28th-29th at Thunderbird Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) has been postponed due to weather. With rain already falling and more in the forecast series and track officials agreed to postpone the 2nd Annual Thunderfest presented by Mark Martin Auto Group at Thunderbird Speedway (Muskogee, Oklahoma) until next weekend, October 5th-6th.
 
On Friday night, October 5th the program will be headlined by a $3,000-to-win/$350-to-start, 25 lap event, while the event on Saturday, October 6th will include a $5,000-to-win/$450-to-start, 30 lap finale.
 
The track's Open Wheel Modified division will be competing both nights paying $1000-to-win/$100-to-start each night.  Any driver who can win the Open Wheel Modified feature both nights will earn an extra $500. There is a one-time $100 entry fee. The 360/B-Mod feature winner both nights will pay $300-to-win and $50 to start, while the IMCA/NCRA type Southern Sport Modified feature winner each night will earn $300. The Street Stock division will pay $300-to-win, while Pure Stocks pay $150-to-win.
 
Thursday night’s open practice starts at 6:00 pm with free grandstand admission. Friday and Saturday night will see gates opening at 5:00 pm with hot laps beginning at 7:00 pm and racing action at 7:30 pm. Grandstand admission prices for Friday night are $20 for ages fifteen and up, free for those fourteen years of age and under. Saturday night grandstand admission is $25 and free for ages fourteen and under. Pit passes both days are $35.
