Josh McGuire Racing Sets Sights on Epic Weekend at Brushcreek

GRAYSON, KY (September 27) - Josh McGuire and his #41 Dirt Late Model team traveled to the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on September 21-22 for the 33rd edition of the 'Jackson 100.'  The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presided over the storied race, which boasted a hefty $20,000 winner's check.  In qualifying on Friday night, Josh timed in eleventh fastest in his group during the two-lap session.

When the action really heated up on Saturday evening, Josh finished ninth in his loaded heat race, but later climbed all the way up to fourth in his consolation event.  Unfortunately, the Grayson, Kentucky ace missed out on a coveted transfer position by a mere spot and was not able to advance into the 'Jackson 100.'  Complete results from Brownstown can be viewed online at www.lucasdirt.com.

Next up for the Josh McGuire Racing (JMR) team will be ‘One Epic Weekend’ at the Brushcreek Motorsports Complex in Peebles, Ohio from September 27-29.  A $1,200 to win weekly show will kick things off tonight at Brushcreek.  On Friday night, preliminary action will start for a pair of feature events on Saturday.  The first A-Main on Saturday will pay $10,000 to the victor, while the second main event will pay either another $10,000 top prize or a ‘Harley Davidson V-Rod.’  Additional information on the three-day extravaganza can be accessed by pointing your web browser to www.brushcreekmotorsports.com.
