...The National Championship Racing Association (NCRA) late model division kicks back in action this coming weekend with a pair of races at two different venues in two different states. It all kicks off on Friday night in the second annual “Rumble in the Bull Ring” at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Nebraska. The tour will then head to the home of the series, 81 Speedway in Park City for their second and final appearance on the 2012 race season in an event billed as the MARS/NCRA “Late Model Clash.”…
...For the final time this season the Ultimate Super Late Model Series is set to invade the big half-mile Wythe Raceway in Rural Retreat, Virginia. This Saturday night, August 3rd stop number 12 for the Ultimate Supers, will feature a $4000-to-win / 40-lap A-main. Casey Roberts of Toccoa, Georgia holds a commanding lead in the Ultimate Series Championship standings...
...Cherokee Speedway in Gaffney S.C is set to host the Beast Series for the 28th running of the Stick Elliott Memorial on August the 4th. The 2012 event will pay $4,000 to the winner. One of several memorials held at Cherokee Speedway each season for the super late models. The Stick Elliott race hits home for people in the local community. Stick was from nearby Shelby N.C. His daughters were raised in Gaffney S.C which is also the home of Cherokee Speedway…
...Thanks to Roush Yates Performance Products, the fun will roll on long after the final checkered flag of this Friday night’s USA Nationals qualifying program at Cedar Lake Speedway. The ‘Party In The Pits’ presented by Roush Yates Performance Products adds another exciting entertainment element to the spectacular USA Nationals weekend, which runs from Aug. 2-4. The 25th annual crown-jewel event is headlined by a 100-lap World of Outlaws Late Model Series paying $50,000 to win on Saturday evening...
...The "Revolution" will be held on Sunday, August 5 and will feature the most powerful 2 late model divisions in the region, with the Speedmonster/3 State Flyers Super Late Models paying $5,100 to win. Nick Dickson and Gregg Satterlee of Rochester Mills, PA currently are tied for the lead in the Speedmonster Super Series championship...
