Eddie Carrier Jr. Claims Eighth Victory of 2012

Salt Rock, West Virginia (07/17/12) –Eddie Carrier Jr. continued his recent hot streak in his #28 Grover Motorsports/Engines Inc./Rocket/Grover Racing Engine Super Late Model by registering a $3,000 victory on Friday night at Southern Ohio Speedway (Wheelersburg, Ohio).

On Friday evening Eddie traveled to Southern Ohio Speedway (Wheelersburg, Ohio), and for the second straight outing he would storm to a feature win as he topped the $3,000-to-win, 2nd Annual GCP Engines Southern Showdown.  Carrier Jr. led all 30 laps of the feature, and the win marked his eighth triumph of the 2012 season.  He was followed across the finish line by Ben Adkins, Eric Christian, Carl Dillow II, and Shannon Thornsberry.  Full results are available at www.SouthernOhioSpeedway.com .

Saturday evening's scheduled 25th Annual Paul Butterball Woolridge Memorial fell victim to rain and has been rescheduled for this Saturday night.
