Daniel Baggerly Charges to Smoky Mountain Top Ten; Southern Nationals Ahead

RURAL RETREAT, VA - Following a rare weekend off, the B&B Motorsports team returned to Ultimate Super Late Model Series competition on Saturday evening, July 7 at the Smoky Mountain Speedway in Maryville, Tennessee.  The 'U-Drive Auto Firecracker 5000' took place at the storied Volunteer State speedplant and a $5,000 winner's check was up for grabs.

Daniel Baggerly qualified twenty-third fastest during the time trial session, but later grabbed the sixth and final transfer spot through his B-Main.  After rolling off twenty-first on the grid in the 50-lapper, Daniel stormed through the talented field and eventually worked his way inside of the top ten.  "Bagz," who currently sits second in the Ultimate Super Late Model Series point standings, crossed underneath the checkers in the eighth position after picking off thirteen competitors.  Complete results can be viewed at www.ultimatesupers.com.

The #16 team is scheduled to take the upcoming July 13-14 weekend off from Dirt Late Model action, as they prep their equipment for the grueling Schaeffer Oil Southern Nationals Series.  The two-week miniseries will snake through the states of Virginia, Tennessee, Georgia, and Alabama to sanction ten different shows at as many different facilities from July 16-28.  You can watch Daniel sling dirt for the next two weeks at the following venues:
