Mike Pegher Jr. Tabbed for First Firecracker 100 Start 

Wexford, PA (June 28, 2012) The Geisler Racing Team and National Dirt Late Model Hall of Famer Lynn Geisler will not be competing at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, PA) in the Sixth Annual Firecracker 100 presented by GottaRace.com this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, June 28, 29, and 30.  Instead, Crate Late Model standout Mike Pegher Jr. will take the wheel of the famed #1 Cochran Automotive sponsored super late model to compete in his first Firecracker 100.
 
Despite his five championships and 108 wins at Lernerville Speedway, Geisler feels that now is as good of time as any to give Pegher the wheel against some of the best drivers in the country.  'Mike and all of his crew have worked hard all year,' Geisler said, 'they've earned the right to run the Firecracker and probably a lot more throughout the rest of the year.' 
 
Pegher, who has three starts, three top-ten's, and two top-five's behind the wheel of the Geisler Racing super late model has modest expectations for this weekend's Firecracker 100, 'I'm excited to run the Firecracker,' Mike said, 'but the main objective of this weekend is to get experience while racing with the Outlaws guys.  We want to make the show each night and getting as many laps out there as we can.  The track time this weekend could offer is priceless, we can learn a lot being out there with guys like (Darrell) Lanigan, (Tim) McCreadie, (Shane) Clanton, and all the other full-time racers.  We're looking forward to having a solid weekend.'
 
Pegher, as stated above, will be in action this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, June 28, 29, and 30 for two $6,000 to-win events and the $30,000 to-win Firecracker 100 at Lernerville Speedway, all sanctioned by the World of Outlaws Late Model Series.
