William Thomas Races to $2k Payday at Green Valley Speedway

Phenix City, Alabama (06/20/12) - William Thomas piloted his #22 Zaxby's Extreme Power Sports/Barry Wright Super Late Model to his fourth win of the season on Saturday night with a $2,000 triumph at Green Valley Speedway (Glencoe, Alabama)

Saturday was a great outing for the team as William claimed the $2,000 top prize at Green Valley Speedway (Glencoe, Alabama)! After not being in action for almost three weeks due to Mother Nature, the team traveled to the 3/8 mile oval to pursue their fourth win of the 2012 season. Nineteen Super Late Models took part in the program and William began his night by qualifying second fastest in time trials to earn the outside-front-row starting spot for the main event with Ronny Lee Hollingsworth starting alongside him. Thomas would bolt to the lead as the race went green and would go on to claim the win, which came over Bo Shirley, TJ Alford, Jason Hiett, and Joe Armistead.
