Scott James Transfers into Dirt Late Model Dream; Looks Ahead to Brownstown and LCS HARRISBURG, IL (June 13) - Drivers Scott James and Jason Riggs represented Riggs Motorsports over the June 8-9 weekend at the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. On tap at the "Big E" was the 18th edition of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream' presented by Ferris Commercial Mowers and a whopping $100,000 top prize was on the line. Scott timed in thirty-fourth quickest of the 98 entrants during the qualifying session on Friday night and later ran fourth in both his heat race and the B-Main on Saturday evening. After rolling off from the outside of the eleventh row in the 100-lap feature event, Scott was an early retiree from the crown jewel race and wound up twenty-fourth in the final rundown.
Jason suffered mechanical troubles during the two-round qualifying session on Friday, but got his Rocket Chassis back together for Saturday's portion of the 'Dirt Late Model Dream' program. After starting dead-last in his heat race, Jason moved up to eleventh in his 15-lap heat race, which transferred him into the C-Main. The Harrisburg, Illinois native then finished twenty-first in the C-Main and was unfortunately done for the night. Full results from the big weekend at Eldora can be accessed by logging onto

The annual running of the 'Lake Cumberland Classic' will pay $10,000 to the winner this weekend at LCS.
Jason Riggs will also sling dirt this week, as he plans to trek to the Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee on Saturday evening, June 16 for a regular weekly show.
