Delmas Conley Runner-Up in Southern Ohio Speedway OpenerWHEELERSBURG, OH (April 19) - Delmas and Rod Conley returned to racing action on Friday night, April 13 at the nearby Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg, Ohio. A $2,000 top prize was on the line in the track's season opening program. Delmas set fast time during qualifying, ran second in his heat race, and later finished a strong runner-up in the 25-lap feature behind only winner Eddie Carrier, Jr. Rod qualified well and won his heat race to earn the outside front row starting spot in the A-Main. Unfortunately, engine woes sidelined the #71r and "Hot Rod" was unable to start the main event. Complete results from Southern Ohio Speedway can be accessed online at

All three Conley Motorsports, Inc. drivers will jump back into competition this Friday evening, April 20 at the Southern Ohio Speedway in Wheelersburg. Delmas, Rod, and R.J. Conley will all invade the nearby speedplant to compete for the $2,000 winner’s check. “Hot Rod” will then be the lone driver to head to the Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky on Saturday, April 21 for another $2,000 to win show.
