Wendell Wallace Third in Charlie Fulton Memorial; Preps for Doubleheader Weekend

BATESVILLE, AR (April 12) - Wendell Wallace and his #6m team ventured to the Thunderbird Speedway in Muskogee, Oklahoma on Friday night, April 6 for the inaugural 'Charlie Fulton Memorial.' The MARS DIRTcar Series sanctioned the one-day show at the famed 1/2-mile oval and a $5,555.55 top prize was on the line. Wendell won his heat race in preliminary action and later also took the checkers in the dash, which paid $555 to win. After rolling off from the inside of the second row in the 55-lap 'Charlie Fulton Memorial,' Wendell battled amongst the leaders throughout the race and wound up third in the final rundown behind only race winner Billy Moyer and runner-up Jesse Stovall. Full results from Muskogee can be accessed online at www.marsracingseries.com.

Next up for the Wendell Wallace Autosports team will be a pair of Dirt Late Model events over the April 13-14 weekend in the states of Arkansas and Mississippi. On Friday evening, the nearby Batesville Motor Speedway in Locust Grove, Arkansas will play host to a $2,000 to win Comp Cams Super Dirt Series tilt. The dirt-slinging competition will then quickly turn to the Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi on Saturday night for the inaugural ‘Spring Throw Down,’ which boasts an $8,000 payday. Additional information about both weekend races can be viewed by clicking on www.compdirt.com and www.magnoliadirt.com.
