Brandon Kinzer a Solid Eighth in Season Debut at Boyd’s Speedway

ALLEN, KY (April 12) - The Kinzer Motorsports team opened up their highly-anticipated 2012 campaign on Friday night, April 6 at the Boyd's Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia. The Chattanooga area venue played host to an unsanctioned event on Friday and a $3,000 top prize was on the line. Brandon Kinzer timed in fifth fastest in his group during the qualifying session and later finished second in his B-Main to gain access into the feature event. After rolling off from the inside of the sixth row in the main event, Brandon drove up to as high as sixth in the running order before settling for a solid eighth place performance in his season opener. Brandon and the #18 team are now scheduled to take the next couple of weekends off from racing action. They may return to competition over the April 27-28 weekend, but their next scheduled show is on Friday night, May 4 back at the Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia.
