Gregg Satterlee Set to Kick-Off 2012 Season during Georgia/Florida Speedweeks

Rochester Mills, PA (January 4) - 'The Truth', Gregg Satterlee of Rochester Mills, PA has tentative plans to start the 2012 season the same way he finished the 2011 season, with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series. The national tour closed their 2011 season at The Dirt Track at Charlotte back in November and will open the 2012 season with a $20,000 to-win, two day event at Screven Motor Speedway in Sylvania, GA on February, 10 and 11 dubbed 'Winter Freeze'.

'Racing down south is something we've wanted to do for the last few years,' Satterlee quipped, 'things just never worked out for us to get down there.' Gregg and his Satterlee Petroleum Distributers, East American Motorsports, Daugherty Motorsports, Zero Wraps, JNJ Motorsports Media sponsored Rocket Chassis will follow the World of Outlaws Late Model Series as they cross into the state of Florida for their next five events at Bubba Raceway Park in Ocala, FL on February 16, 17, and 18. Track owner and promoter Todd Clem, (AKA: Bubba the Love Sponge) has put up $8,000, $10,000, and $12,000 to win for the three nights of racing.

Gregg will then head over to Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, FL for the 41st Annual UNOH DIRTcar Nationals from Monday, February 20 through Saturday, February 25. The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will sanction Thursday and Saturday night's action with the remaining four evenings being UMP sanctioned events.

'We're planning on being at Volusia but there's a possibility that we may not race every night,' Gregg said. 'Everything depends on how things go prior to getting to Volusia. Our stuff isn't done yet so all of this still may not happen but as of now, the plan is to go racing in Georgia and Florida.' Satterlee continued, 'After Speedweeks we have nothing set in stone as to what we're going to do for the remainder of the season. We'll probably do what we've done in the past with running a regional schedule and hitting all the bigger shows throughout the area. Rumor has it that we're planning on doing the entire Outlaws tour, that's not our plan. This is just something we've wanted to do for a while now and that's all we're planning for.'
