Denton Boyer Finishes 2011 Season with Win; Looks Forward to 2012

Punxsutawney, PA (November 17, 2011) Denton Boyer and the Denton Boyer Racing team finished their 2011 season win a $1,500 win at Dog Hollow Speedway giving him a total of three wins on the year at Marion Center Speedway (2) in Marion Center, PA and Dog Hollow Speedway in Strongstown, PA.

'We had a pretty solid season, 'Boyer said from his garage in Punxsutawney, PA, 'we just need to race more. The weather at the beginning of the season held everyone up for a while and we had a few other personal activities going on throughout the summer that kept us away from the track on occasion. We'd like to be closer to racing 40 times a season, this year we only had 28 starts. Everyone wants to get better and racing more often helps you get better.'

'I need to thank my crew, Shawn Wingard and family, Leonard Martin, Andy Lazeration, and my Mom and Dad for all the help this past season,' Denton expressed, 'and also my sponsors Mom and Dad, Martin Farms, Coyer Enterprises, Pinned Designs, LazFab Custom Dirt Late Model Bodies, Robbie Allen Enterprises, Daugherty Motorsports, Rocket Chassis, Hoosier Tire Mid Atlantic, Simpson Race Products, Simon Race Supply, Pifers Used Cars, JNJ Motorsports Media and Cory Stivason Photography. Without their help and support we couldn't do this, everything they do is greatly appreciated.'

Boyer's will kick off the 2012 season racing locally like he normally does and if the team has some early success, the plan is to branch out a little more and hit some higher paying events throughout the Western PA region. 'The goal is to race more in 2012 and get better,' Denton said, 'so if we get things started with a little bit of momentum, we definitely want to get out and race at different facilities.'
