Scott Creel Looks to Conquer 17th Annual Fall Classic

by Ben Shelton
Franklinton, Louisiana (10/20/11) – Scott Creel is eagerly preparing to take his #31 Voodoo Motorsports/Creel Brothers/Bloomquist/Pro Power Super Late Model into war this weekend in the 17th Annual Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi).

Last Saturday night Scott traveled to Whynot Motorsports Park (Meridian, Mississippi) to take part in a warm-up event for the 17th Annual Coors Light Fall Classic. A field of 24 Super Late Models entered the event, and Creel starting the evening by qualifying 10th fastest to lock into the fifth starting spot in his heat, where he would ultimately record a sixth place finish. Via his heat finish he started 12th on the grid for the feature before passing three cars on his way to a 9th place finish at the checkered flag.

This weekend, October 20th-22nd, Scott will look to make some noise in the 17th Annual Coors Light Fall Classic at Whynot Motorsports Park. Even though the 2010 edition of the event saw bad luck strike Creel as he battled for a transfer spot, he has enjoyed several good runs at the facility, and hopes to capitalize in the track's biggest event of the year. Festivities begin on Thursday night with an Open Practice Session. Friday will be headlined by time trials and heat race action, while Saturday will see b-mains and the 100 lap finale, which will pay $15,000-to-win and $1,000-to-start.
