Show-Me Racin Series And ULMA Late Models Headline Springfield Racewayby Ronnie Williams
Springfield, Mo.—Sat Evening October 29th will feature the 3rd event of the Springfield Raceway Final 4 for 2011 as the Race Bros Farm And Home Supply Show-Me Racin Series will go head-to-head against the Crawdad's Classic Gourmet Hot Sauce ULMA Late Models as this could be billed as the Civil War battle of Missouri in a feature event that will pay $800 to win and a $250 to start feature as this 1st annual Boogerman event will help in the cause of Trick or Treating for Breast Cancer. Part of the Proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer of the Ozarks Chapter in Southwest Missouri.
Incredible Pizza has joined as the title sponsor for this event along with Auto Express of Joplin, Doug's Pro Lube of Joplin and Monett, Transport Graphics, Wheeler Metals, Andy's Frozen Custard, Hoffman Racecars and others have joined forces to help provide a safe Trick or Treat Night for the Kids 16 and Under as they will be admitted Free.Kids dressed in costume will get a chance to go Trick or Treating at the Speedway as these business and more are setting up booths along with special prizes for those in costume including Bikes and other items.Kids in costume will be registering for the special prizes.
The 2 respective Late Model Series will run under their own rules and as several drivers have said the Quick-Quarter of the Springfield Raceway will keep the action tight, fast and even. Car counts overall will help determine the procedures for starting line-up as drivers will draw for heats and qualify through passing points. Late Model car entry fee is $50 for this event and Raceceivers are required.
Support classes for the 1st ever Safe Trick Or Trick Boogerman for Breast Cancer will feature A-Mods, B-Mods, Midwest Modz, Legends and possibly 1 other class to be named.
Pit passes will be $30 for this event with the Pit gates opening around 10:30 AM while Hotlaps will be at 2PM. Draw for passing points will be at 2PM while the drivers meeting will be at 1:30 with racing action to begin at 3PM.
Grandstand Admission for this event will be $15 for Adults with Kids 16 and Under Free. Kids need to be in costume to Trick Or Trick and be eligible for the Special Prizes. Grandstands will open at 1PM.
