KAYNE HICKMAN GETS A-1 VICTORY FRIDAY AT BOYD's SPEEDWAY

Chattanooga, TN (10/10/11) --- Kayne Hickman (# A-1) of Soddy Daisy, TN picked up his first win of the season Friday night leading flag t flag the Crate LM feature at Boyd's Speedway. Holding off the current division points leader, Jason Welshan the racer known as the H3 TENNESSEE TORNATO piloted Mike and Theresa Simmons' "AAA, A-1 Towing and Service Center, Chubby's BBQ" MasterSbilt / 604 GM Performance machine to its first 20-lap $800 payday. "Welshan was coming..." stated Hickman from his shop, regarding the race. The late caution with three to go, enabled me to keep him behind us." Hickman went on to thank his family, inparticular his mom and dad, for all they do week in and week out. Hickman started the night in heat #2, and took the win to put him on the outside pole for the feature. Craig Reece finished behind Welshan at the checkers with Elbert McCullough and 2010 Boyd's Crate LM Champion Craig Burrows rounding out the Top 5. Crate LM's, A&B Hobby and FWD will host S.R.R.S SLM's next Friday at Boyd's. Hickman can be followed on-line via his facebook page.
