Josh McGuire Conquers Down and Dirty 30 at Beckley for Fourth Victory of 2011

GRAYSON, Ky. (September 15) -The Josh McGuire Racing (JMR) team racked up their fourth victory of the 2011 campaign on Friday night, September 9 at the Beckley Motorsports Park in Beckley, West Virginia! Josh McGuire laid down the fourth fastest lap during the qualifying session and later finished second in the dash. After starting the 'Down and Dirty 30' from the outside of the front row, Josh grabbed the top spot on the first lap and led flag-to-flag in the unsanctioned race. The Grayson, Kentucky native bagged $2,000 for his triumph over Tim Dohm, Steve Lucas, Rod Evans, and Rick Williams!

On Saturday evening, September 10, the #41 team had plans of invading the Ohio Valley Speedway in Washington, West Virginia for a regular weekly show. However, those plans were scrapped after Mother Nature dumped rain in the area and forced the cancellation of the race. Complete results from Beckley on Friday can be viewed online at www.beckleymotorsports.com.

"It was nice to go over to Beckley last Friday and come away with a big win," exclaimed McGuire. "The car was excellent all night; we qualified well and ran strong in the dash to put us where we needed to be for the feature. Our year has had some highs and lows, but I think we are on the right track for a strong finish to the season. Hopefully, we can continue to build some momentum with another solid run in the Harvest 50 this weekend!"

Josh and his #41 team will look to continue their winning ways this Saturday night September 17 at the Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio. The 28th Annual 'Harvest 50' will be held on Saturday at Skyline and a $5,000 top prize will be up for grabs in the unsanctioned, one-day showdown. Josh is a multi-time 'Harvest 50' winner, as he reached victory lane in the event back in 2006, 2008, and 2009.
