Dillan White Claims Fifth Win of 2011

Crofton, Kentucky (09/14/11) - Dillan White continued his late season surge in his #54 DW Motorsports/Mastersbilt/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model as he earned his fifth feature victory of 2011 with a win on Sunday evening at Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tennessee)

After seeing the event on Saturday night postponed a day by rain to Sunday, the team was finally able to enter the Weekly Racing Series Event at Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tennessee) on Sunday afternoon. Nineteen cars were on hand for the program, and with threatening weather in the area, the feature grid was lined up by time trials. After qualifying seventh fastest, White started seventh in the feature. He would quickly work his way forward in the feature before racing his way to the top spot. Once out front he wouldn't look back on his way to his fifth win of the 2011 season! The victory came over Tanner English, Caleb Ashby, Gavin Schmidt, and Fred Perry.

For the upcoming weekend, the team plans to once again enter a single event as they travel to Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Indiana) on Saturday night for the 7th Annual Hall of Fame Classic, which is slated to pay $2,500-to-win.
