Dillan White Scores Pair of Labor Day Weekend Triumphsby Ben Shelton
Crofton, Kentucky (09/07/11) - After enduring some rough luck over the past few months Dillan White got his season back on track as he piloted his #54 DW Motorsports/Mastersbilt/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model to a pair of feature wins.
Below is a blog-style recap of Dillan's weekend results:
September 2nd, 2011 - Dillan opened his Labor Day weekend on Friday night at Moler Raceway Park (Wiliamsburg, Ohio) in a Weekly Racing Series Event. Nineteen Super Late Models entered the event, and after advancing from his sixth starting spot to a third place finish in heat race action, White would start sixth on the grid for the feature. On the initial start he and another car would make contact causing the caution to wave. Dillan was credited with the caution and told to go to the tail of the field, so he decided to call it a night. He was credited with a 17th place finish. Full results are available at

September 3rd, 2011 - After Friday night's bad luck, the team was looking to get things pointed in the right direction on Saturday night, and they would do it in a big way as Dillan claimed his third feature win of the 2011 season at Lawrenceburg Speedway (Lawrenceburg, Indiana). Sixteen cars entered the program, and in heat race action White would pass three cars on his way to a second place finish. Via his heat performance, he started fourth in the main event before battling his way to the lead and the win. Following him across the finish line were Robby Hensley, Tim Prince, Brian Gray, and Tom Sheets. Full results are available at

September 4th, 2011 - The team was slated to enter a $3,000-to-win event at 191 Speedway (Campton, Kentucky) on Sunday night but rain forced the event to be postponed.
September 5th, 2011 - On Monday night the team was in action at Twin Cities Raceway Park (North Vernon, Indiana) in the annual Ted Collins Memorial. Dillan would start the night by winning his heat race to earn the outside front row starting spot for the $2,500-to-win main event. White would battle with Mike Jewell for the lead for much of the event before taking possession of the top spot late in the race as he went on to claim his second win of the holiday weekend and fourth win of the 2011 season!
