Clate Copeman Claims His Fifth Win of 2011 at Dog Hollow Speedway

Greensburg, PA (August 31) 2010 Dog Hollow Speedway Champion Clate Copeman has had one of the most consistent seasons a driver could hope for in 2011. Copeman captured his fifth win of the season this past Friday, August 26 at Dog Hollow Speedway in Strongstown, PA to go along with wins at Thunder Valley Raceway in Central City, PA and Marion Center Speedway in Marion Center, PA.

Clate has entered 26 events throughout the season and has gone home with an astounding 22 top ten finishes including 15 top five finishes. As a result of his extremely consistent season, and his win this past Friday, Copeman is now a mere three points behind Dog Hollow Speedway point leader Sammy Stile.

'It's been a good season for us,' Copeman said, 'but there's always room for improvement. The new Mastersbilt Chassis has been fantastic for us all year and I have to thank all of my fans and sponsors for all of their support. Without them we wouldn't be in the position we are in with two races left to hopefully repeat as Dog Hollow Speedway Champion.'

Up next for Copeman will be Dog Hollow Speedway in Strongstown, PA on Friday, September 2 and Friday, September 9. Clate will also be in action at Marion Center Speedway on Saturday, September 3 and Saturday, September 10. Depending on what happens on Friday and Saturday of Labor Day weekend, the team may also head to Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markelysburg, PA on Sunday, Sept 4 for the World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned 'Work Force 50' that will pay $10,000 to the winner.
