Dillan White Records Second Win of 2011

Crofton, Kentucky (08/16/11) - Dillan White piloted his #54 DW Motorsports/Mastersbilt/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model to his second win of the season on Saturday night by topping the action at Highland Speedway (Highland, Illinois).

Dillan was back in action on Friday night at Kankakee County Speedway (Kankakee, Illinois) in the $3,000-to-win, Land of Lincoln Clash 40, which pitted the ALMS Super Late Models against the UMP Super Late Models as 32 cars entered the event. A sixth place finish in heat race action left Dillan short of a transfer to the feature, and as a result he had to run a b-main where he finished second to secure the 17th starting spot for 40 lap feature.

In the main event he would mount a solid charge through the field to record an 8th place finish at the checkered flag.

Saturday night was a great outing for Dillan and the team as they earned their second win of the 2011 season. White entered a Weekly Racing Series Event at Highland Speedway (Highland, Illinois), and with seventeen cars entered he started the night by winning his heat race from the sixth starting spot. Via his heat performance, he earned a spot in the dash, where he finished second to lock him into the second starting spot for the feature alongside Paul Bailey. Dillan would work his way to the lead early in the feature and never looked back on his way to the win, which came over Chad Zobrist, Rick Salter, Frankie Martin, and Paul Bailey.

The upcoming weekend, August 19th-20th, will see the team in action in a pair of UMP Weekly Racing Series Events at Paducah International Raceway (Paducah, Kentucky) and Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tennessee).
