Daniel Miller Returns with a Top-10 Finish and Launches New WebsiteLynchburg, Tn. (08/16/2011)- After taking a month off from racing action to refresh for the last leg of the 2011 season, Daniel Miller and the D&D Motorsports returned to action this past weekend at Thunderhill Raceway, bringing home a top-10 finish.
The D&D Motorsports team initial plans on Saturday August 13th was to debut the newly refreshed Millers Used Cars, Paul Miller Auto Service, Bates Septic Service, C.O.R. Suspension Technology, JPM Promotions, KUNTZ Powered, Team GRT Chassis at Winchester Speedway (Winchester, TN) but a late afternoon rain shower washed out plans to race at Winchester and the team loaded up and headed over to Thunderhill Raceway (Summertown, TN).
Behind the eight ball already, the team pulled into the speedway as soon as qualifying was concluding at Thunderhill Raceway. So, Miller would have to start on the tail end of the 17 car super late model field. Miller started 16th in the 25 lap feature, as the green flag dropped, Miller wasted no time to bob and weave his way through the field, by lap 3 Miller had worked his way up to the 12th spot. Several laps clicked off before the only caution came out on lap 11 and Miller had worked his way up to 11th position. On the restart Miller and the rest of the field took the green flag and Miller worked both the high and low side of the track to pass cars. As the laps were closing down Miller worked his way up to the eighth position and when the checkers fell, Miller would settle for the eighth spot a bring home a solid showing for the refreshed car and team.
Daniel Miller and team also joined JPM Promotions and launched the debut of Daniel Millers website
www.danielmiller16.com to give fans a resource to keep track of the team and upcoming events.
As requested by many fans, the team also ordered newly designed T-shirts that are for sale. Team members and Miller will have them at the trailer for sale on nights they are racing.
The D&D Motorsports team will be heading south this up-coming weekend Saturday August 20th, 2011 to Whynot Motorsports Park (Whynot, MS) for the Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Topless 50
