ARCA’s Buescher to Test the Dirt of Kankakee Friday night
Eighteen year-old ARCA Series full-time driver Chris Buescher of Prosper, TX, is a veteran of the ASA Speed Truck Challenge Tour and Legends Cars, and finished first three times and second twice in five ASA Speed Truck Challenge starts in 2008. In 2011, Buescher currently sits in the fourth position in 2011 ARCA series points with nine Top 5 finishes in 13 events run thus far this season, including three runner-up showings.
Buescher is also the younger brother to Camping World Truck Series standout James Buescher. Buescher drives for Roulo Brothers Racing and is a development driver for Roush Fenway Racing; he considers Roush Fenway NASCAR driver David Ragan a mentor.
Buescher has been cleared by Jack Roush to race the #60 Late Model owned by track promoter Tom Smith this Friday night as a tune-up for the upcoming Allen Crowe 100 to be held at the Illinois State Fairgrounds in Springfield, IL on August 21st.
Buescher will take part in Late Model heat races and consis, and will also be made available to sign autographs for the fans.
