Klint Byars Dominates Greenville for MSCCS Win

Carrollton, Mississippi (07/21/11) – Klint Byars powered his #5 Southern Belle/K&K Motorsports/Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model to the $2,500 feature win on Saturday night at Greenville Speedway.

It was a great night for Klint and the team at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, Mississippi) on Saturday night as the tour sanctioned a $2,500-to-win, Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) event at the 1/4 mile oval, and when the checkered flag flew it was Byars, who stood in victory lane.

Seventeen Super Late Models entered the event, and after qualifying fourth fastest in his group, Byars finished seventh in the dash to lock into the seventh starting spot for the main event. Klint would quickly work his way to the lead, and once out front he would drive away from the field to claim the win by half a track over Steve Bryan, Bo Gordon, Chad Thrash, and Mike Palasini Jr. Full results and the latest standings are available at www.StateSeries.com.
