Dart Challenge Series Hot Dacotah Summer Nights Tour The Dart Challenge Series for WISSOTA Late Models makes a second stop at Casino Speedway in Watertown, SD on Thursday, July 14 and the first of two visits in 2011 to Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, SD on Friday, July 15. AMSOIL Dirt Track Series drivers from all over WISSOTA country are set to invade northeast South Dakota this weekend. Late Model drivers will race for $2,000-to-win and $200-to-start on Thursday in a 40-lap main event.
In addition, the Advantage RV Modified Tour presented by Watertown Ford Chrysler will take part in this blockbuster event making this a must see for all race fans. WISSOTA Modified drivers will run for a minimum $1,500-to-win and $200-to-start in a 40-lap feature.
WISSOTA Street Stocks are also on the card with a full show and a makeup feature event from a July 10th weather cancellation.
Racing starts at 7 pm Thursday with draw cutoff at 6 pm. Pit meeting and hot laps to follow.
Adult tickets are $18; Kids ages 8-13 are $5 and children 7 and under are free with a paid adult.
On Friday, July 15, the “Hot Dacotah Summer Nights Tour” travels to Brown County Speedway in Aberdeen, SD for the first night of the Dacotah Rumble. That's right the Dacotah Rumble is back in 2011!
Late Models are set to run another 40-lap feature for $3,000-to-win and $300-to-start. Joining the Dart Challenge Series for WISSOTA Late Models is once again the Advantage RV Modified Tour presented by Watertown Ford Chrysler. Modified pilots have another minimum $1,500-to-win and $200-to-start, 40-lap battle.
Besides the Late Models and Modifieds, WISSOTA Streets Stocks will run a full show for $600-to-win and Pure Stocks will race their heats and fast dash.
Drivers and fans should keep in mind that the second night of the Dacotah Rumble will be just as hot!
WISSOTA Late Model drivers will race for $5,000-to-win and $500-to-start on Saturday along with a full program of Advantage RV Modified Tour presented by Watertown Ford Chrysler Modifieds with a minimum $1,500-to-win on the line. Furthermore, WISSOTA Super Stocks battle for $1,000-to-win and a $250-to-win Pure Stock main event.
Friday racing starts at 7:30 pm with draw cutoff at 7 pm. Pit meeting and hot laps to follow.
Saturday the show starts at 6:30 pm with draw cutoff at 6 pm.
Adult tickets are $20 each day or save by purchasing a two-day pass for $35. Students and seniors are $15 each day or a two-day pass is $25. Children 11 and under are free with a paid adult.
Raceceivers and transponders are mandatory at both racing venues. For those that don't have transponders there will be rentals available.
