MARS DIRTcar Series Invades Brill Motor Speedway and Salina High Banks

The MARS DIRTcar Series will invade Brill’s Motor Speedway in Meeker, OK this Friday June 3, 2011 for a $3,000 to win payday. Eric Turner of Springfield, MO won last year’s feature event in what many are calling, “one of the best races of the year”!

Along with Turner, other expected drivers include 6-time and defending MARS Champion Terry Phillips of Springfield, MO; current MARS point leader Brad Looney of Republic, MO; Jeremy Payne of Springfield, MO; Brandon McCormick of Lebanon, MO; Jesse Stovall of Galena, MO; R.C. Whitwell of Tucson, AZ; Tony Jackson Jr. of Lebanon, MO; John Anderson of Omaha, NE; Al Purkey of Coffeyville, KS; Gary Christian of Broken Bow, OK; Leroy Johnson of Springfield, MO; Justin Asplin of Birch Tree, MO and many more.

In addition to MARS, the USRA Modifieds, USRA E-Modifieds, USRA Pro-Street Stock, USRA Sprints, E-Sprints, Mini Stocks and Mini-Sprints will also be racing in regular season points action. Gates open at 6:00pm, hotlaps begin at 7:30pm and racing at 8:00pm.

On Saturday June 4, 2011 the MARS DIRTcar Series will take on one of the most storied dirt tracks in the nation, the infamous Salina Highbanks Speedway in Salina, OK. The drivers of the MARS series will provide plenty of high-flyin’ action at the 3/8 mile oval.
