Eric Wells Launches New Website; Pennsylvania Lucas Oil This Weekend

Hazard, Kentucky (04/28/11) – Eric Wells is the latest addition to the MSRMafia.com Team and has launched a brand new website at www.EricWells18.com .

Eric is 22 years old and drives the #18 Wells Motorsports/Warrior/Custom Racing Engine Super Late Model on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) tour. The 2011 season marks his second year on the tour as he finished second in the 2010 Quarter Master Rookie of the Year competition with the series. After more than his fair share of bad luck to start the season, Wells currently resides 19th in the tour standings, but will be looking to make up ground in a pair of events this weekend as the series travels to Pennyslvania.

This weekend, April 29th-30th, Eric and Wells Motorsports will head to the keystone state for two events with the LOLMDS. The weekend gets underway on Friday, April 29th at the 1/2 mile, Bedford Speedway (Beford, Pennsylvania) before traveling to the 3/8 mile, Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex (Markleysburg, Pennsylvania) on Saturday, April 30th.

Eric took advantage of an off-weekend from the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) to enter a $10,000 to win event last Saturday, April 23rd with the Ultimate Late Model Series event at Volunteer Speedway (Bulls Gap, Tennessee). With 31 Super Late Models entered, Eric blazed to the third fastest laps in time trials to earn the pole starting position for his heat race alongside Scott Bloomquist. Wells would finish second in the heat race, which locked him into the sixth starting spot for the main event. In the feature, he would advance two spots to a fourth place finish behind race winner, Jimmy Owens, Jonathan Davenport, and Chris Ferguson.

Eric Wells would like to thank his sponsors and marketing partners including Wells Motorsports, Valley View Enterprises, Convenient Lube, Cox Wrecker Service, ASI Racewear, ATL Fuel Cells, Beyea, Custom Race Engines, CV Products, Dart, Dyer’s Top Rods, Expressions Floral & Gift, FSR Radiators, Skillsaw Designs, Goddard Industrial, GW Performance, Hawk Performance, Keyser Manufacturing, Outlaw Racing Disc Brakes, Performance Bodies, Peterson Fluid Systems, Hoosier Racing Tires, Sweet Manufacturing, Twisted!
