Nick Dickson Opens Season with Top Ten, Introduces New Website

April 3, 2011 (Lewistown, PA) Nick Dickson of Lewistown, PA and Nick Dickson Racing opened their 2011 season this past Saturday, April 2 at the famous Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, MD. Dickson came home with a top-ten finish in his first start of the young 2011 season behind the likes of race winner Jeremy Miller and two-time World of Outlaws Late Model Series Champion, Josh Richards.

As Dickson’s season kicks off, the team would like to announce the launch of their brand new online home located at www.nickdickson17.com. The JNJ Motorsports Media powered site will feature everything you could want to know about Nick Dickson including news, schedule, crew, sponsors, links, and photos from past and present. ‘I need to thank Dusty Hertzler at Speedwrapz and JNJ Motorsports Media for working out a deal to get our race team online,’ Dickson said about the new website. ‘I also need to thank my wife Paula; she’s the one that is going to be working with the guys at JNJ Motorsports Media to keep the site updated. Hopefully we’ll have the type of season that will keep a lot of people coming to visit us at our website.’

Nick’s plans for the 2011 season includes a majority of the Three State Flyers series events as well as Unified Force Race Championship (UFO) events, Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, and World of Outlaws Late Model Series events within the region. ‘There are really a lot of good paying races all within three to four hours of our shop that will keep us busy all season long,’ Nick commented. ‘We certainly can’t complain about the amount of good paying shows we have around us and we’re looking forward to the cold weather getting out of here so we can all get into our schedules.’

Nick and the Dickson Race team will be in action next Friday, April 8 at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, PA for the Appalachian Mountain Speedweek qualifier. The winner will receive a guaranteed starting position during the Appalachian Mountain Speedweek event on Tuesday, June 8. Dickson will also be in action at Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, MD on Saturday, April 9.

Nick Dickson and the Nick Dickson Race Team would like to thank their 2011 sponsors: Dickson’s Alignment, Dickson’s Exhaust, Speedwrapz, Hershey Racing Engines, JNJ Motorsports Media, Hoosier Tire Mid-Atlantic, Jake’s Custom Carts, Frankland Racing Supply, Cizmar Racing, Simpson, and GW Performance.
