Scott James Looks for More Success at Florence Speedway this Saturday Night

(BRIGHT, INDIANA)  Scott James and the Riggs Motorsports team, a week removed from the postponement of the ‘Indiana Icebreaker’ at the Brownstown (IN) Speedway, will return to Dirt Late Model competition this Saturday night, April 2.  Weather pending, the Florence Speedway in Union, Kentucky will play host to an unsanctioned program this weekend.

Scott and the rest of the competitors will draw for their starting positions in the heat races and passing points will be utilized to determine who transfers into the main event.  Consolation races will then fill out the remainder of the starting grid prior to the start of the $3,000 to win feature event.  Scott opened up his season at Florence back on March 19 where he finished an impressive second behind only winner Eddie Carrier, Jr. in the ‘Spring 50.’  Additional information concerning this Saturday’s showdown at the Cincinnati area venue can be located online at www.florencespeedway.com.
