Bobby Labonte Racing Ready to Bring Home the $20,000 "Cash Cow 100"
Pearson Jr. Looking for Redemption
Neat Aiming to Capitalize on February Success

Trinity, N.C. (March 15, 2011) - Bobby Labonte Racing (BLR) is making last minute adjustments, prepping both the No.41 Red Buck Chevrolet and the No. 44 Lucas Oil Dodge, as the team will invade the World of Outlaw (WoO) Dirt Late Model circuit this weekend. BLR is traveling to the 'Baddest Bullring in the South', the Columbus (Miss.) Speedway. Columbus Speedway is a steeply banked, third-of-a-mile clay oval that produces heart-pounding racing action as drivers battle just inches from the outside wall.

The schedule kicks off Thursday, March 17 with an open practice for all competitors, while on Friday, March 18, the WoO will host their qualifying session and heat races. On Saturday, March 19, the B-mains will be held along with the 100 lap, $20,000 to win feature event. This event is the richest paying dirt late model race in the month of March.

The team is looking for redemption after coming off a disappointing run in the "Super Bowl of Racing" at the Golden Isles Speedway (GIS) this past weekend. Pearson Jr. and the Lucas Oil team were running in the top-five Friday night before an accident forced them to finish outside the top-10. The No. 44 team finished 16th in that race and 14th on Saturday.

"Yeah, it wasn't one of our best weekends at Golden Isle," said Pearson Jr. "We had a good run going on Friday, but got caught in a wreck running in the top-five. That stuff is going to happen. Saturday night we just struggled a bit. We're going to move on to Columbus and see what we can do there. It is a fun track and hopefully we can get a big pay day before moving into the Lucas Series."

Brad Neat and the No. 41 Red Buck team came into GIS with high hopes after receiving his new Cornett Racing Engines power plant. He hoped to use the new motor to propel him to the front as they did in February when Neat captured BLR's first win of the season. Neat would only race his No. 41 Red Buck Cigars Chevrolet Saturday evening after the motor changes. Neat had a flat tire at the end of the race that dashed any chances of a top-10 finish. He finished 18th.

"I've got to thank the folks at Cornett Racing Engines for working hard to get our motor back," said Neat. "We just had a flat tire at Golden Isle and had to come in. But, I'm ready to get to Mississippi and race against the Outlaw crowd. They are so competitive and it's fun to get a good finish against them."

The team will be leaving from their shop in Trinity, N.C. later this week.
