John Garvin Jr. Captures First Ever Super Late Model Win at PPMSSarver, PA (September 14, 2010) John Garvin Jr. raced his way to his first career win this past Saturday, September 11 at Pittsburgh’s PA Motor Speedway after starting fifth and holding off challenges from youngster Jason Rider. The driver nicknamed ‘Copperhead’ inherited the lead with two laps remaining and stormed his way to the checkered flag.
‘It’s been a long time coming for us,’ Garvin said via telephone. ‘I felt like we’ve been getting better and better all year. With us traveling a little bit this season while running with the All Stars, building relationships with other drivers, seeing and competing on different tracks, it’s really helped us out as a team and me as a driver.’ John continued with thanks to all of his sponsors and supporters, ‘I’m glad that we were finally able to win one for everyone that supports us, from our sponsors to our fans. I especially want to thank my dad who’s stood behind us all this time, supporting me and the guys through some rough times.’
Garvin Motorsports also wants to announce that the team has signed on with JNJ Motorsports Media and Fleming Design Solutions to build

Traveling with the All Stars has really stepped up our program and now with getting that first win, we’re really excited for 2011.’
