COMP Cams MSRA Set For Pivotal Event at New West Plains Speedway

Beebe, Arkansas – The COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model Series is eagerly preparing for this Saturday, September 11th as the tour will sanction the 20th Annual Kuntz & Co. Fall Nationals Presented By Colton’s Steakhouse at New West Plains Speedway in West Plains, Missouri.

This Saturday’s event will mark the first time that the COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model tour has sanctioned an event at the facility, and it will also mark the only Super Late Model event of 2010 at the New West Plains Speedway.

The entire staff with the COMP Cams MSRA tour is extremely excited to be part of the rebirth, so to speak, of New West Plains Speedway. COMP Cams MSRA Director, Chris Ellis, comments, “West Plains Speedway is a fixture in dirt track racing. In addition to the history of the facility, the Fall Nationals has a history of its own, and to be able to sanction the event is really something special for us and our racers.

Adding even more intrigue to the event is the tight point’s battle that the COMP Cams MSRA will bring into the event. Bill Frye from Greenbrier, Arkansas is the current point’s lead with a 31 point advantage over runner-up, Kyle Beard from Trumann, Arkansas, and a 52 point advantage on third place runner, Jon Mitchell from Texarkana, Texas.

Joining the lead trio in battle this weekend will be Jeff Floyd, Joey Mack, Brandon Smith, Jon Kirby, Eddie Provence, Terry Henson, Shane Stephens, Jeff Sloan, Eric Turner, Justin Asplin, Jamie Dacus, and many more of the region’s top drivers.

The 20th Annual Kuntz & Co. Fall Nationals Presented By Colton’s Steakhouse will be headlined by a special purse that will feature a $3,000 to win/$400 to start event, 40 lap event. Also in action will be IMCA Modifieds, Super Stocks, Hobby Stocks, Youth Hobbies, and Cruisers. Adult admission is $15 with kids 7 to 12 years of age $5, and 6 and under are free. Pit passes are $30.
