NeSMITH CHEVROLET WEEKLY RACING SERIES WEEK 23 PREVIEW

CARTERSVILLE, GA – The NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series will have a limited Week 23 schedule due to the Labor Day holiday weekend and the NeSmith Chevrolet Dirt Late Model Series National Tour will be in action at Whynot Motorsports Park in Meridian, MS on Friday and Saturday nights, and at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, MS on Sunday night.

Several NeSmith Chevrolet WRS competitors will be will racing for their 25 Regional bonus points in each event that are added to their best 16 finish totals. Each WRS driver can earn up to a total of 150 bonus points. Some drivers in both the Weekly Racing Series East and West Regions need to earn their available bonus points to stay in championship contention.

There will be three races in the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series East Region, and one event in the NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series West Region in Week 23 competition. East Region Saturday night races will be held at East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, AL and Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, AL.

Flomaton Speedway in Flomaton, AL will present a NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series East Region race on Sunday night. The lone NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series West Region race will be held on Saturday night at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, MS.

Whynot Motorsports Park will host the $5,000-to-win 75-lap NOS Energy Drink Nationals for the NeSmith Chevrolet DLMS National Tour with qualifying and heat races on Friday night and B-mains and the feature race on Saturday night. Magnolia Motor Speedway will present the $2,000-to-win GM Performance Parts Black Ice 40 for the National Tour on Sunday night.

The NeSmith Chevrolet Weekly Racing Series Dirt Late Models are powered by the economical GM Performance Crate Engines that are built and sealed at the factory to prevent any expensive modifications.
