Tony Knowles Wins Again at Dixie; NGS & NAS This Weekend

Tyrone, Georgia (09/01/10) – Tony Knowles continued his torrid pace at Dixie Speedway on Saturday night in his #26 RSD Enterprises/SAE Parts/Rocket/Custom Racing Engine Super Late Model as he picked up his fifth win of the season.

Tony enjoyed a strong showing on Saturday night as he entered another Weekly Racing Series Event at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia. Knowles began the night by setting fast time around the oval, and then proceeded to lead every lap of the feature to claim his fifth win of 2010 over Craig Scott and Jay Smith! This Labor Day weekend Tony will set out to enter a pair of events in Georgia and Alabama. The weekend will open on Saturday night at North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Georgia) with a $3,000 to win event, which will be sanctioned by the Volunteer Racing Series. On Sunday night, Tony will make the trek to North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama) for the 6th Annual Bama Brawl at Jeff Greer’s 1/3 mile oval. Knowles has enjoyed success at the facility during his career, but this will be his first venture to the facility in 2010.
