August 19: PDTR features "Fan Appreciation Night"
Plymouth Dirt Track Racing will say thank you to the fans this Saturday as they have dedicated the program as "Fan Appreciation Night".
General admission to the grandstand will be just $5 for adults, $3 for those ages 12-15, and, as always, kids under 12 will be admitted for free if accompanied by an adult.
Racing will begin at 6:00 PM and with the season winding down and some very close racing in the point standings, it should make for an exciting night of racing.
In the Late Model Division, Rick Scheffler leads his older brother Russ by just nine points. Tim Buhler has moved into contention with consistent finishes and trails the leader by only eleven points.
In the sprint class, Kurt Davis has what appears to be a comfortable ninety-five-point lead over T.J. Luedke. Lance Fassbender is third but trails Davis by one hundred and twenty-six points.
Brian Gilles leads in the Grand National Division but by just eighteen points over Brett Wenzel. Last week's Feature winner, Mark Fieber is twenty-nine points back.
Outlaw Compact leader is Aaron Stolp, but he holds only a slim thirteen-point lead over defending champion Tim Simon. Travis Arenz is twenty-seven points back.
