Kyle Beard Has Successful Debut in New Victory Circle; Topless 100 Next

Trumann, AR (08/18/10) – Even though he would’ve like to have won both events over the weekend, Kyle Beard was extremely pleased with his performances at Greenville Speedway in his brad new #86 Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Samuels Performance Racing Engine Super Late Model.

Kyle took part in a double header with the PRO Dirt Car Super Late Model tour over the weekend at Greenville Speedway (Greenville, MS). Friday night saw the make-up feature from the July 1st, Four Crown Nationals rainout, and Kyle started on the pole for the 40 lap event. He would battle with David Breazeale for the entire length of the feature, and would actually pull alongside the leader on a few occasions. However, he would never be able to complete the pass and would finish a close second. He would claim a $600 bonus for finishing second in the Four Crown Nationals standings.

On Saturday night the Topless 50 was held, which was highlighted by a $3,000 to win event. After struggling in time trials, Beard started 12th in the feature. Despite starting around mid-pack, he would work his way through the field, and by the time that the checkered flag dropped he was credited with a third place finish behind event winner, Neil Baggett, and Rick Rickman.

This weekend, Beard Motorsports will enter the 18th Annual COMP Cams Topless 100 at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas). In 2008, Kyle qualified for the main event, but fell short of the mark in 2009. He will be looking to make up for last year’s disappointment this weekend in the $40,000 to win/$2,000 to start event. The weekend gets underway on Thursday with an Open Practice Session. Friday will see time trials and heat race action, while Saturday will be highlighted by b-mains, and the 100 lap finale. The weekend will be sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Dirt Late Model Series (LODLMS), and the SPEED TV cameras will be on hand to record all of the action for a future airing. Kyle Beard would like to thank his sponsors including KB Transport, Gary Beard Trucking, Samuel’s Performance Engines, JFR Graphics, Real Racin’ Wheels, Bill Frye Motorsports, and MSRMafia.com Marketing Services.
