Jeremy Glasgow To Invade Greenville Speedway this Weekend

Caledonia, Mississippi (08/11/10) – Jeremy Glasgow will return to action in his #7 Glasgow Trucking/Mastersbilt/Wall-2-Wall Racing Engine Super Late Model this weekend in a PRO Dirt Car Series double header at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi.

Jeremy was last in action two weeks ago as he took part in three events over the July 30th- August 1st weekend.

Festivities got underway on Friday night, July 30th at North Alabama Speedway (Tuscumbia, Alabama), where Jeremy entered a Weekly Racing Series Event. With 14 Super Late Models on hand, Glasgow would register his best Super Late Model finish of his career at the 1/4 mile oval by coming home in the second position to event winner, Riley Hickman.

Saturday night, July 31st found the team making the trek to Jackson Motor Speedway in Byram, Mississippi for a $2,500 to win, 50 lap Mississippi State Championship Challenge Series (MSCCS) Super Late Model event. Twenty-six Super Late Models entered the event and Glasgow locked into the dash via time trials. In the dash he would finish seventh, which earned him the seventh starting spot for the main event. In the feature, the team would slightly miss the setup on his entry, and he would struggle to a 14th place finish.

On Sunday night, August 1st Glasgow Motorsports wrapped up the weekend at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi with a Weekly Racing Series Event. After getting behind the eight ball in time trials, Jeremy started 12th on the grid for the feature. Despite starting toward the back of the main event, Jeremy would advance to a sixth place finish in the final rundown.

This weekend, August 13th-14th, Jeremy will travel the ¼ mile oval at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi. On Friday night, the make-up event from the program that was rained out on July 1st will be held. Glasgow will start 8th on the grid for the 40 lap, $2,000 to win event.

On Saturday night the Topless 50 will be held, which will consist of a complete program of time trials, b-mains, and a 50 lap feature event. Both events will be co-sanctioned by the PRO Dirt Car Series & NeSmith Super Dirt Car Series Super Late Models.
