Anthony Burroughs Records Fifth Win of Season At North Alabama Speedway

Muscle Shoals, Alabama (08/10/10) –Anthony Burroughs drove his #121 ABC Cash Registers/Mastersbilt By Stuckey/Wall-2-Wall Racing Engine Super Late Model to his fifth win of the 2010 season on Friday night at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama.

The team entered a Weekly Racing Series Event on Friday night at North Alabama Speedway in Tuscumbia, Alabama. After setting fast time in qualifications, Burroughs raced his way from the pole starting position to the feature win. The triumph was his fifth of the year and came over Michael McKleroy and Mark Dodson.

Anthony traveled to Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, Tennessee on Saturday night for a $3,000 to win Southern Regional Racing Series Event. After qualifying third fastest in his group, Burroughs started 8th in the main event. He would battle in the top ten early in the event, but mechanical issues would ultimately sideline him to a 21st place finish.

Burroughs is currently third in the Southern Regional Racing Series (SRRS) Super Late Model standings and will enter a pair of events this weekend. On Friday, August 13th the team will be in action at Duck River Speedway (Wheel, TN) in a $2,000 to win event before traveling to Tri County Speedway (Brasstown, NC) on Saturday, August 14th for a $3,000 to win program on Saturday night.
