R.J. Conley Reaches Victory Lane for Fifth Time in 2010 at Portsmouth

(WHEELERSBURG, OHIO)  R.J. Conley, of Wheelersburg, Ohio, picked up his fifth feature win of the 2010 racing season last Saturday night, July 31 at the nearby Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio! R.J. timed in fifth quickest during qualifying at PRP and later ran third in the dash. After starting from the inside of the second row in the A-Main, R.J. quickly found his way to the front and led the majority of the laps en route to the $2,000 triumph over his brother Rod Conley, Chris Wilson, Butch Dowdy, Jr., and Brett Kennard. Rod finished fourth in the dash before advancing two spots in the feature event to claim the runner-up performance.

A night earlier, "Hot Rod" and his #71r team found themselves at the Skyline Speedway in Stewart, Ohio for another $2,000 to win showdown. Rod ran second in heat race action prior to recording a third place effort in the unsanctioned feature event behind only winner Chris Carpenter and runner-up Zach Dohm. All three Conley Motorsports, Inc. drivers are scheduled to be back in action this Saturday night, August 7.  R.J. and Delmas Conley are slated to invade the Portsmouth Raceway Park in Portsmouth, Ohio for another $2,000 to win regular weekly show.  Rod Conley, on the other hand, is scheduled to travel south to the 201 Speedway in Sitka, Kentucky for a $3,000 to win unsanctioned program on Saturday evening.  Additional information on both events can be located online at www.portsraceway.com and www.race201.com.
