Buffalo Prairie Dental Night Plus Kids Mad Dash for Nickels

Wheatland, MO (August 3rd, 2010) - This Saturday, August 7th it's "Buffalo Prairie Dental Night at the Races" at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri featuring the TNT Quick Shop Late Models, the Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds, and the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks as the battle for the Rockstar Energy Drink Weekly Championship heats up. In addition to the high-octane racing on the track, The Frogs Signs Junior Fan Club will be hosting the Mad Dash for Nickels. Louie Michael will be returning this Saturday to Lucas Oil Speedway after a very successful debut last weekend, as he brings his own special brand of entertainment to Wheatland, Missouri including singing, impersonations, and great giveaways for fans of all ages.

The tightest battle for the 2010 Lucas Oil Speedway Track Championship is in the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks as the Frogs Signs sponsored #93 driven by Randy Gilmore out of Wheatland, Missouri holds a slim thirteen point lead over Neosho's Chris Hawkins. Hawkins and Gilmore finished second and third respectively last Saturday night with the pressure continuing to build as the dog days of summer wear on. Chip Shaddox continues to stalk the leaders from the third spot, as the Wheatland driver sits only 42 points out of the lead. Keith Webster rides in fourth, just six points behind Shaddox with Frotenac, Kansas' Mike Bitner in fifth driving the only non-GM product in the top-5 as he campaigns his familiar black Mustang.

The Pitt's Homes A-Modifieds had started to look like a Jesse Stovall runaway but after having mechanical troubles in both features last weekend, the grind of the long racing season may have caught up with the driver out of Galena, Missouri affectionately referred to as "The Undertaker". Stovall continues to lead the points over Shawn Nations but for the first time in recent memory, the lead has started to shrink with Nations now 164 markers behind Stovall. Wheatland's Jason Pursley holds down the third spot, only 20 points behind Nations. Nevada, Missouri's Jon Sheets continues to impress week in and week out as sits solidly in the fourth spot while Archie, Missouri's Tim Setzer slips back to fifth after sitting out last weekend with a broken powerplant in his familiar #51.

Browning, Missouri's Tommy Cordray continues to hold off all challengers in the TNT Quick Shop Late Models as he has now opened up a 91 point lead over Andy Kennedy. Andy's brother Harlen sits in third driving the 101 and sits only 34 points behind Andy. By virtue of his win last Saturday night, Jeremy Kelley has rebounded to occupy the fourth spot in the season long battle for the track championship with veteran ULMA campaigner, Danny Lorton in fifth as he makes the long haul down to Lucas Oil Speedway every Saturday night from Moberly, Missouri.
