Eric Cooley Leads NeSmith Tour Back Into Action

Fulton, MS (07/28/10) – After two weeks of rest and relaxation away from the track, current NeSmith National Late Model Series point’s leader, Eric Cooley, will lead the tour back into action this weekend in his #33c Cooley Transport/Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer Crate Late Model.

After some much needed time away from the track to freshen his equipment and relax, Eric is eager to return to action this weekend in a triple header in the state of Mississippi. The weekend gets underway on Friday, July 30th at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi with a $2,000 to win event. On Saturday, July 31st, the NeSmith competitors will return to the ¼ mile, gumbo oval for a $2,500 to win, 50 lap event.

Sunday night will see the action move to the other side of the state as the NeSmith Late Model Series looks to conquer the “Black Ice” at Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi. The program will be highlighted by a $2,000 to win, 40 lap event.

Heading into the weekend’s events Eric continues to hold a 60 point advantage over Mathew Turner in the NeSmith Late Model Series point’s race.
