Ross Camponovo Gets Second Win of 2010 at Greenville Speedway

Clarksdale, Mississippi (07/27/10) – Ross Camponovo powered his #18 Camponovo Farms/Rocket/RPM Racing Engine Super Late Model to the feature win at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi on Saturday night.

Saturday night was a great outing for Ross as he picked up his first Super Late Model win of the season. The team was in action at Greenville Speedway in Greenville, Mississippi. Camponovo started the night by setting fast time to earn the pole position for the feature event. He would grab the lead at the drop of the green flag and went on to take the win over Clay Fisher and Greg Fore! The victory was his first Super Late Model win of the season and his second total victory for 2010 as he has one Crate Late Model triumph to his credit. Ross isn’t sure yet if he will be racing this coming weekend, but if he does it will likely be with the COMP Cams MSRA Super Late Model tour. The series will sanction a $2,000 to win/$300 to start event on Friday night at Malden Speedway in Malden, Missouri before traveling to Northeast Arkansas Speedway in Harrisburg, Arkansas on Saturday night for a $2,000 to win/$400 to start program.
